1. Ringke Dual Easy Wing Screen Protector
Ringke’s Dual Easy screen protectors are particularly popular for phones with curved displays. This is mainly because glass screen protectors don’t stick too well on curved screens. The brand makes it easy (hence the name Easy Wing) to apply the screen guard as it comes with an alignment tool in the package. You also get an additional screen protector if you mess up the first time.
As per Ringke’s claims, this Samsung S23 Ultra screen protector has automatic healing properties. So, if you end up scratching the protector, it should ideally fix itself by the next day. However, we’d take this claim with a grain of salt.
If you’re looking for a thin film screen protector that doesn’t add any weight to the phone, the Ringke Dual Easy Wing is a good option. However, ensure you add a case to your phone for an added layer of protection.
2. Skinomi Matte Screen Protector for Galaxy S23 Ultra
Matte screen protectors are immensely popular and for good reason. After all, they allow you to use the phone under harsh lighting conditions without picking up on unnecessary reflections. The Skinomi matte screen protector for your Samsung S23 Ultra does just that and comes with an anti-reflective coating. So if you use your phone outdoors a lot, you will appreciate the matte finish.
It is still a film-based screen protector though, so you’re not getting any protection against drops. Apart from this, the application process isn’t as straightforward as we’d like to see either. To that end, Skinomi’s offering uses a liquid-based application process that can get somewhat messy. On the upside, you do get two screen protectors in the box. So if you mess up the first time, you have a backup.
If you’re okay with the application process, you can also consider the Spigen Neo Flex. It draws a lot of parallels to the Skinomi screen protector albeit ships with a clear texture. In fact, it looks similar to the Ringke one mentioned previously too. The Spigen one is slightly thicker and more protective though, which is something to watch out for.
3. Milomdoi Tempered Glass Screen Protector
The Milomdoi tempered glass screen protector has curved edges, which is somewhat of a rarity in glass screen protectors. It has black borders all around the screen protector along with adhesive on the entire glass surface. It sticks perfectly to the screen thanks to the included alignment tool.
Milomdoi also bundles in an extra tempered glass that you can use if one should break. Another bonus is the inclusion of three camera protectors that prevent the lenses on the rear from getting scratched. You may face some issues with touch sensitivity using this screen protector initially. To tackle this, head on over to Settings > Display > Touch Sensitivity and enable the feature on your Galaxy S23 smartphone.
The Milmdoi tempered glass offers good overall protection for your Galaxy S23 Ultra. The only downside is that the black borders take up some space on the display’s real estate.
4. IMBZBK UV Tempered Glass with Camera Protector
A traditional tempered glass screen protector comes with pre-applied adhesive. The difference with a UV screen protector like this one from IMBZBK is that you have to apply the glue separately, align the glass, and then cure the glue.
The main challenge with applying the IMBZBK screen protector would be the application process. However, if you follow the instructions carefully, you should be able to do it. The brand is also kind enough to include four protectors in the box. So, if you mess up the first time, you still have three more attempts.
It’s important to note that some UV-based screen protectors don’t fair too well with ultrasonic fingerprint readers like the one on the Galaxy S23 Ultra. If you face this issue, delete your registered fingerprints and enroll them again.
5. Whitestone Dome Glass Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra
We mentioned earlier that UV-based screen protectors are hard to apply. With the Whitestone Dome tempered glass though, that’s not an issue. The number of accessories you get along with the bundled instructions makes it much easier to apply. Not just this, but the quality of the screen protector – both in terms of protection and touch response – is excellent.
You will not run into any issues with the fingerprint reader while using the Whitestone Dome screen protector. You get two screen guards in the box which is always nice to have. We would go as far as saying the Galaxy S23 Ultra Whitestone Dome tempered glass is the best screen protector out there for the device.
6. IMBZBK Privacy Screen Protector
The standard IMBZBK screen protector is one of our top recommendations if you only want to protect the screen from scratches and dings. But, if you want to add solitariness to the mix, then you should get the privacy screen protector from the brand. The quality of the glass and installation process remains the same since it’s a UV-based screen protector.
For those unaware, a privacy screen protector cuts off the display’s contents beyond a certain angle. So, if you’re traveling by public transport and don’t want the person next to you peeking into your personal chats, you should get the IMBZBK privacy screen protector for the Galaxy S23 Ultra. And, just like the standard pack, you get camera protectors with this one too, which is great.
FAQs for Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra Screen Protectors
You shouldn’t have any issues with the fingerprint scanner when using thin film-based screen protectors. Some tempered glass screen protectors, especially ones with UV glue may cause problems. We have tested the Whitestone Dome tempered glass personally and found that there were no issues with the fingerprint scanner.
If applied properly, UV-based screen protectors are undoubtedly durable. Ensure you get a good-quality one though.
Most screen protectors are slightly smaller than the display itself to accommodate a case. So, you shouldn’t have any issues with them. Some rugged cases that are extremely thick may cause issues with UV-based tempered glass screen protectors though.
